      ASK THE BUCK!

Q. "Hey, Buck. I think I can see more if I watch a bad guy's eyes. What's the deal with the hands?"

A. Good Question, Amigo, the eyes may tell you what is in a person's soul, but the hands will tell you what is up with the Devil's Workshop!!

Q. "Working midnights for the last eleven years has made me a little crabby, at least that's what both ex-wives say. How do you "maintain your even strain" and not let the crap get you?"

A. Tough one, Crimefighter, even Ol' JD "Buck" Savage gets a little down now and then working on the big interstate and it is times like that I remember dreaming as a kid to live a life of adventure and excitement. I see the chases, the fights, the arrests, the seizures, and the excitement and the fear that I have known as lawman in this great country and remember that is what I did with my life. I usually do this with my eyes closed and recommend that you pull over first as this has caused me grief in the past.

Thanks Buck!

Mr. Smith,

In 1984-85 I was stationed at Gila Bend Air Force Auxiliary Field, Gila Bend, Arizona and was part of the 832nd Combat Support Squadron serving as a Law Enforcement Specialist. This was my first posting while in the military and I went on to other bases from there before finishing my Air Force career in 1993.

During my stay at Gila Bend Air Force Auxiliary Field I was a member of the SWAT team (then it was called EST or Emergency Services Team) as a sharp shooter. I also learned other specialties while stationed there and reviewed several instructional videos including the ones about the infamous, J.D. Buck Savage. Buck Savage was such an inspiration to me that I began acting like him calling myself M.K. Buck Stanton.

I used to come to roll call reciting the latest video that I saw of my hero. It was a time that I needed to "fit in" and become one of the team. When I found this alter ego I immediately began trying new things and different training. I participated in the Gila Bend Air Force Auxiliary Field Drill Team while I was there. We drilled with actual functioning Colt AR-15 Combat Ready Rifles and actually performed at Luke AFB and other competitions in various parades throughout the state of Arizona including Phoenix, Scottsdale, Winslow and Tucson to name a few. It was a great time for me and I will never forget it and the influence J.D. Buck Savage had on me.

I continued my Air Force career through the Bombing of Libya, Operation: Just Cause and Desert Shield/Storm before finally ending my career and beginning my life in civilian law enforcement. I then went on to hotel security and now work for a company managing hotels. I am the Director of Loss Prevention and Security at the Sugar Land Marriott Town Square, in Sugar Land, Texas and really enjoy it.

From 1984 to 1999 I was know as M.K. Buck Stanton before I finally went back to my name of Marshall. My fiancé liked Marshall better than Buck. I owe a lot to J.D. Buck Savage and want to thank him for the video's, sense of humor and for getting me through the rough times.

I'm glad I typed in "JD Buck Savage" on my search engine tonight, on a whim. It brought up your site and the videos I hadn't seen in over 20 years. Thank you sir. Keep up the great work and always remember "Watch the Hands".

This is "M.K. Buck Stanton", Good day!

Marshall K. Stanton
Sugar Land, Texas
